MURRAY/MEYER FESTIVAL 2003

Hi Everyone!

Here’s the down-low on the weekend you’ve all been waiting for.  Thank Peter, Sasha, Jennifer, Tricia and Kat if this looks far more organized than you ever thought our clan was capable of.

AGENDA

Friday:   

• 5:00 - Matthew and Jennifer’s for dinner.  If you get to Larchmont earlier, meet up at the Larchmont Yacht Club for swimming and posing with foofy drinks on the front lawn.
• Late night at Sherwood’s.

Saturday

• 10:30 – 1:30 – Tennis matches and swimming at the LYC.  Remember when we all used to play tennis?  We promise beer, betting and incendiary match-ups on the court, with the winner receiving the first annual Rita and Matthew Cup.  Plus lots of big boobs (physical and mental) at the pool.  There will be an alternate plan (also involving beer) if it’s raining.
• 4:00 - Baptism of Ava Kathryn Brasch at St. Augustine’s Church (with cameo role by godmother Sasha for those of you planning to bail) followed by 5:00 mass.  Even the philistines must be at St. Augustine’s by 5:40 because the family photo will be taken immediately after mass.
• After mass, parents with young children can bring them back to respective houses for babysitting.  All others can go straight to LYC.
• 6:00 - Cocktails on the lawn of the LYC.  We’ll pretend we’re the Kennedys, with Colin standing in for Arnold.
• 7:00 - Dinner, Drinks and Wolf, Wolf, Wolf at the Pandemonium at the LYC
• 9:30 – 1:30 - Dancing and celebrating with all of Larchmont/NYC.

[NOTE: Transportation will be available from 10:30 to 3:30 (for those of you still hanging out in Sherwood’s parking lot at that hour) to bring people back to Matthew and Jennifer’s or the Shore Club or wherever – NO DRIVING ALLOWED!]

Sunday

• 12:00 - Non-golfer’s brunch at Peter and Abigail’s house.
• Men’s golf at Winged Foot
• 6:30 - BBQ dinner at Matthew and Jennifer’s followed by the infamous Trivial Pursuit game (no strokes allowed this year).

Monday

• 10:00 – 1:00 - Casual brunch at Rita and Vincent Murray’s before the party’s over.
• All day - anyone who wants to can hang out at the LYC
